karen is a new-york based poet and essayist. she recently graduated from sarah lawarence college where she concentrated in gender studies and creative writing. she has worked at the feminist press, the china institute, and the china-us exchange foundation. karen has eaten, learned and called home hong kong, shenzhen, wales and new york. when she is not writing, she can be found online window shopping, analyzing the latest episode of steven universe, or at her local community garden.
